rampart crossbow from Zürich

Hi guys,

yesterday i found a picture of a rampart crossbow from the 14.th cent, kept=
in the Landesmuseum in Z=FCrich. As ist seems, it is build without a nut, =
but uses a simple peg instead to release the cord. Since I=B4m donig a bit =
of research now on peasants=B4 crossbows, this seems interesting.

Does anyone of you maybe have some additional pictures from the crossbow, o=
r it=B4s specifications as to measurements and materials used? I only have =
a (not too big) picture taken from above the bow - so any additional inform=
ation would be much appreciated. Also, if you know of crossbows with simila=
r locking mechanism from the 14th - 16th cent.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Tomasz
