I do not know,  what a kind of banner you found. I looked at them, but i
don't know nothing about.

But may be it is the war-banner from a canton and the cross on it is to show
that there make part of the switzerland or there are just fighting for them.
..


the black and red flagg i think show us the livery colours of bern.- until
today.

In a swiss chronicles (Luzerner Schilling) I found a strange banner =
which I
have don=C2=B4t know.=20


Upper half is  black, lower one red.

Or sometimes upside down.

There can be a white/silver cross in the center or in the upper field =
only.

I would like to know which canton should it belong to, or if it is a =
banner
of some special unit(as for example handgunners flag in Bern), ally from
not-swiss neighbours and so on=E2?=A6 ???

Does anybody know what is is?
