Powder Horn

Hello everyone,

Franck and I are trying to make a second powder horn for the company.
We need one for each gun. We would like to complete it for Bern.

The only reference I know is the one in the tavern fresco from the
castle of Issogne, Aosta Valley:

Sorry this picture is not very good.

Since the tip is curved, it seems to me that it is not open and that
the powder would be poured from the other large end. There is a small
cylinder on this side, it could be a stopper or a pourer with a
stopper at the end.

I don't know if this fresco is precise enough and shows anything else
but I don't have big images of it.

So I you have any other references on powder horn or more information
on this one please share them. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Mathieu
