Hobnailed footwear

From: "Chris Bailey"
Date: Tue, 28 Mar 2006 16:39:44 +0000

Hello,

There are a fair few hobnailed boots in Gerry's "Medieval Military Costume",
and he quotes Piers Plowman as evidence, along with mentioning the existence
of some pictorial sources. I'm wondering if anyone knows what these sources
are, or whether any more evidence has come to light since then.

Thanks,

Chris Bailey
