Hello everybody,

Nice to hear from you, Peter, especially since I'm also doing reenactment of about 1350-60 (as well as earlier and later periods), and I've started to search for more or less the same things, unfortunatly with not much sucess.
I only have very rare hints of brushes in any form, one of them in the london excavations, and none for shaving soap, so I would also be thankful for more hints.

As for razors, there should be several examples from germany, one from schleswig I think, Lutz http://www.hacheschmiede.de/messer/klapmess/indexklg.htm has images of a replica, I haven't put too much research into that yet.

kind regards,
Jens Boerner
