In Sweden quite a few people have been making coopery jugs, typically of
juniper wood.

I'm NOT suggesting that the following sample is a reconstruction of anything
in particular. It's simply the only one I have, made by man called Einar
Hedlund, Sparrsätra, in 1975 (when he was over 70 years old). It's 22.5 cm
high (from bottom to rim, excluding lid), 21 cm in diameter at the bottom
and 15 cm at the top.

In this case, the bands are fairly "symbolical".

Cezary, if you were to make a coopery jug, based on a
historical/archaeological sample, what would it cost (roughly)?

Patrik
