Re: Hats

Hi Fabrice,

I know somebody certainly must have already posted on the subject, but :

 any advice/source/documents about hats/headgear composition/making ?

I already have the Harmand stuff about Joan of Arc, and other books on Burgundian matters.

What kind of hats are you looking for? and what kind of advice/sources... are you looking for.

If I want to answer to your question I wouldn't know where to start. :-)

In the company, we usually advice to wear small convenient felt hats, cool enough to wear on warm weather, and easy to put away or tuck in your bag or belt when you have to wear a helmet. Is it the kind of headgear you are looking for?

OT : could somebody if possible be kind enough to send me privately a few excerpts and examples of knives from the 'knives and scabbards' book (just to give them a try at the forge) ?

I can do that, do you have special desire regarding knives?

Cheers,

Mathieu
