Christian, FYI 'Le Jeu de la Hache' is a Burgundian
treatise about pole-axe combat, AFAIK the only French
Medieval manuscript of this kind.

I've worked a bit with an English translation of 'Le
Jeu' I found somewhere on the net many moons ago and
it's a solid and sound 'system', though I admit that
my pole-axe is a bit 'Talhoferized'. ;)

Now back to lurk mode...
