Some photos from a trip through scandinavian museums

Hello,
My girlfriend Saara and i visited several museums during
our vacation in scandinavia. I've seen many finds of items
i had never seen before. Others are more familiar, but still impressive.
I've put some of them online at
http://folini.tikon.ch/reenactment/scandinavian-finds/index.html
Among the finds are
- A Padded Jack which has been mentioned on this mailinglist in January
- The remains of a glove
- Two mitten
- Barrel taps
- Scissors
- Children's crossbow
- A big collection of finger rings
- A full metal shovel
Maybe this is of some interest to you.
I've taken some notes when examining the padded jack.
I'll try to post these comments later on as well.
If you are planning a vacation in these regions, there are
many museums worth seeing. The best ones are in my view
The Vasa Museum in Stockholm, the special exhibition
"Godes wolt" in the Castle in Turku (unfortunately
only until October) and the Buddenbrock-Museum in Lübeck.
The latter is a museum on German authors Thomas and
Heinrich Mann that is an impressive way to put literature
on display.
Best regards,
Christian
