Re: Arming doublet picture

Hi,

It come from a manuscript called " Le Jouvencel" by Jean de Bueil. c. 1475
Tours, France

I have an other version of the same picture, of better quality. There are 13
known copies of this manuscript.

The scene do not show Jeanne d'Arc, but the Jouvencel (young man, lad)
which is the main character of the manuscript. The king is giving him a
leadership. 

I have an other picture of the same manuscript showing also 2 arming
doublets. I will scan both of them one of these days and send them to
Christian.
