This image is (French title):
"Bénédiction de la foire du Lendit"
The name of the manuscript it cones from is:
Pontifical à l'usge de Rome / Pontifical de Sens, Paris XIV siècle
It is located in the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, under Manuscrpit
Latin 962, folio 264r. For some reason, this manuscript is not available
thorugh Mandragore, but maybe it is just inexperience on my part... You can
see it in color is you do a search for "foire" in the google engine on the
www.bnf.fr site.
And to come back to the topic, since this scene represents a faire, my guess
is that the contructions are cloth-covered stalls, used to display the
various wares being sold.Maybe searching for that instead of tents will
provide more information in your search.
Good day to all!
Hugo

Hi Brent,
I don't know this picture but I sure like it too. Do you know from what
manuscript it is?
