Finally - i handed in my PhD

Hello everybody,

In an act that must be like getting a baby i've handed in my PhD.
bears to sufficiently boring title 
"Die Konvente Töss, Katharinental und Paradies im Vergleich.
Ein Beitrag zur Sozialgeschichte der deutschen Mystik"

which tranlates to something like

"The Convents Toess, Katharinental and Paradies in Comparison.
A Contribution to the Social History of German Mysticism"

It's a 300 pages work which tries to compare the social
background of the dominican nuns, the friends of the monasteries,
the daily life in the convents and the special forms of
female Mysticism. The focus lies on the 13th and early 14th 
century.

What's next? They are reading it once more and will come to
a conclusion. This could be in June, but it is more likely
it will be in late October. Shortly afterwards, there will be
a public speech - my "defense" of the thesis. That will be the
less interesting part of the evening. Afterwards i plan to
organise a huge party and i'd be happy to see many of you
listmembers - or at least a couple of those who live within
500km...

Btw. the baby is 350gr, 29.7cm long and 20cm wide.
