I wonder, what would be the main use for such a garment? Would it be
used under armor like an arming doublet, as additional protection for
unarmored personnel similar to cloth armors, or maybe to hold up
hosen or something else? Our group is in Ohio, USA, and the
temperatures are frequently in the 80's and even 90's (deg. F), so
anything that might reduce heat is desirable.
