I'm sure SOMETHING was used, but
what I don't know... but be patient, all the luckier members of St. George
are at an event this weekend, so expect the replies to start flying next
week.

Well - thanks very much John... Your answer
gave me possibility to look at this case from another point of view ( -
i do not need to make my future tent waterproof anyway :D ) - But - to be
honest - I do not think, that in times when it was much colder people could
afford themselves to seat in wet tents... hummm... rather not... :( ...
thanks very much anyway...

Re: problems with tents
No, they are not. In THEORY
(and this works well enough, but not perfectly) the threads of the canvas
itself swell with the wet and make the weave tighter and the rain runs
off the outside. However, if you so much as touch the inside, that's it,
it rains indoors too....

Alloha!!!
I`ve got a question connected with tents - i`ll be much obliged for any help
received from You...
1. How do You impregnate `em?? (? don`t know if i used correct word
:( ) - So maybe this way: How do You make them "waterproof"???? Is there a
receipe for that?
Any wise advices connected with tents? what to do, and what not?
I`ll be very thankfull...
