There
is also possible to get flat butted rings and flat riveted rings through a group
here in Norway. I think they get the rings from India. The rings are very
good.
if
anyone is interested i will provide contact info.
Øyvind.
There is a company in Sweden, Spiros, who makes
flat butted rings in spring steel - I'll dig up some samples to bring to
Pentecost. As far as I know, they have them in stock and a large order is not
required.

Mail rings
The bad news is the Birmingham Rivet people also want
payment up front! Seriously - I'd be happy to co-ordinate this for COSG -
and as such wouldn't make any admin. charge, as lack of flat mail rings
is a real pain for us too - but it might mean setting up a "mail link
bank account" for the purpose to hold cash while enough was clocked up to
place the order.
Talk amongst yourselves now
guys!
