Fustian and Linen for bowstrings

From: joerg_bellinghausen-at-yahoo.com

Hi all!

Does anybody know where to find good-quality Fustian fabric for
clothes? I cannot find anything here. The normal cotton-linen mix, no
problem, but twill-weave, linen for the warp and cotton for the weft,
no chance.

And another one:
I am planning to make some new bowstrings and I wanted to make them
from linen.
From what I've heard, Irish Shoemaker's linen should be the best thing
to get.
Does anybody have a source for suitable linen cord?

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Jörg
